are of Afghan Families (CAF) is working in Takhar province since October 2003 and has implemented various projects in this province such as Implementation of Basic Package of Health Services (BPHS) as from 2003, Improving the Knowledge and Capacity of Afghan Women, Community Midwife Education Programs, Malaria Roll Back Programs, Capacity Building for Poverty Reduction, Health and Hygiene Promotion Projects, Afghan Sustainable Water Supply and sanitation Projects (SWSS), Nutrition projects Therapeutic Supplementary Feeding Program, and Community based Management of Acute Malnutrition.
Currently CAF is implementing Basic Package of Health Services (BPHS) under Partnership Contract for Health services (PCH) project in all districts of Takhar province. Totally, 57 Health Facilities (HFs)
3 DHs,1CHC+, 12CHCs, 34 BHCs, 6 SCs and 1 prison health grade 1 and 485 Health Posts (HPs) are delivering quality health services to the population of this province.
