Care of Afghan Families (CAF) Releases Comprehensive 2022 Annual Report

Care of Afghan Families (CAF), a non-governmental organization dedicated to humanitarian work in Afghanistan, has published its Annual Report for 2022, providing a detailed overview of its activities, achievements, and challenges throughout the year. The report highlights CAF’s ongoing commitment to supporting Afghan families through various projects focused on health, nutrition, community development, and women’s empowerment.  

Key highlights from the 2022 Annual Report include:

• Program Implementation: CAF successfully implemented a range of projects across several provinces, including Sehatmandi projects in Logar, malaria control programs, women’s protection centers, family resource centers, COVID-19 hospital services, and mobile health and nutrition teams.  
• Service Delivery: CAF projects reached a significant number of beneficiaries, providing essential public health services to over 3.2 million clients. This included hospital services, malaria testing and treatment, and maternal and child health services.  
• Capacity Building: CAF emphasized the importance of training and development, conducting training sessions for staff and community health workers to enhance service delivery.  
• Collaboration and Coordination: The organization actively participated in various health forums and committees at both national and provincial levels, fostering collaboration within the sector.  
• Financial Overview: The report also provides a financial summary, including details on CAF’s donors and financial turnover for the year.  

Despite facing challenges, including financial constraints, CAF remains dedicated to its mission of serving the Afghan people and improving their quality of life.
