Job Description:
The supervisor is also responsible to improve the knowledge practice of the medical staff through supervision and on-the-job training. The duties are carried out with
the consultation of the PMU manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- The Project Supervisor is responsible to conduct a minimum of 20 supportive supervisions from, monthly basis.
- Implement and follow up the health programs in the existing areas of work as well as in the new target area.
- Conduct on-the-job training on technical affairs as well as managerial skills to the staff in the.
- Build the capacity of midwives by providing technical and administrative support to them.
- Analyze and evaluate data to ensure the target of project or achievement and take corrective action when necessary to meet program or project objective.
- Assist the management team in planning and implementation of the program.
- Contribute to quality improvement and attainment of set program goals, through the provision of effective technical input to the implementation process.
- Contribute to the development and design of monitoring and supervision plan.
- Establish a ground-based routine supervision /monitoring mechanism for monitoring the performance of the project .and participating in the action through
- routine visits to the.
- Participate in the recruitment of competent personnel for the project through the development of job descriptions. Training of staff within the given conditions.
- Assist technical manager/Senior RH Officer and project manager in the identification of problems and making on-time and effective decisions on resolving the
- problem at service delivery points.
- Maintain a good working relationship with other departments (project manager. Technical manager. Admin finance, CBHC. Reproductive health, and Logistics).
- Contribute to the development and review of project supplies (materials. and pharmaceuticals) and it is compiling the documentation and request process.
- Follow approved BPHS & CBHC guidelines & procedures & promote community-based health care;
- Develop an operational plan for establishing/strengthening the community healthcare network as per the approved plan of action.
- Support communities to understand the concept of community-based health care.
- Contribute to the site selection, identification & training of midwives & organizing community health committees/shuras.
- Participate in CBHC task force meetings regularly in the province.
- Provide feedback to the MW and action plan against weak points found during supervene.
- Prepare PIP and follow up for better achievement in the level.
- Review the monthly reports of the prepare feedback against weak performance.
- Prepare Response to Monitoring and Evaluation feedbacks with RH Officer and management team.
- Prepare integrated report of RH and MIAR with RH Officer
- Support the data entry in database with RH officer.
- In case of need cover the one of the in case of serious need or training of
Job Requirements:
- Graduated from a recognized Medical University, Midwifery, or Nursing Institute.
- At least 3 years of working experience in the field of community development and community mobilization.
SKILLS:
- Fluent in Dari and Pashto languages.
- Good interpersonal and communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to problem-solving and conflict resolution.
- Ability to travel to insecure districts.
- Knowledge and skills in basic computing.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Proactive approach to solving issues.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to create a supportive working relationship with all project teams
Years of Experience:
At least 3 years of working experience in the field of community development and community mobilization.
