Job Description:
The Pharmacy Officer is responsible for overall management of the Pharmacy activities of the mentioned project.
Warehouse, medicine supplies, stock cards, consumption report, database of medicine and medical supplies in the Health level, medicine quantification
Developed in medicine field to the extent possible), supervision and supportive supervision of Health Facility ensuring RCW 50s are functional and supplied with gas
supply to operate. Ensure supply of vaccine to Health, verify data received form Health level related to EPI, ensure the target is reached on immunization.
Ensure proper and timely distribution of vaccines and maintenance of vaccines in the optimal temperature.
Detailed responsibility of Pharmacy officer:
- Establish well organized pharmacy Stock/ Warehouse in Health facility level and PO level
- Ensure timely medicine supplies
- Maintain stock cards and database of medicine and medical supplies in PO level.
- Maintain stock cards and database of medicine and medical supplies in Health level.
- Prepare consumption report of medicine and medical supplies as per format shared with Funding agency.
- Cascading medicine quantification training and other related trainings related to pharmacy field in Health and team.
- Ensuring buffer stock availability in Health level.
- Request for medicine and medical supplies
- introducing available in Health via weekly tele supportive supervision.
- Ensuring RCW 50s are functional and supplied with gas to operate.
- Ensure supply of vaccine to Health
- Check and verify data received form Health level related to EPI.
- Ensure the target is reached on immunization.
- Ensure proper and timely distribution of vaccines and maintenance of vaccines in the optimal temperature.
- Maintain standard and appropriate storage of the medicine in pharmacy stock.
- Maintain proper records of the Pharmacy Stock.
- Assist the Logistic Department in procurement of medical equipment and supplies.
Job Requirements:
- Graduated from recognized medical science institution
- At least 2 years of experience in related field.
- Experience in training, facilitation, and/or program support.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Have skill of English
- Skills of MS-Office, specifically MS-Excel and Power point is a must.
