2019 Annual Report: Serving Afghan Families

Care of Afghan Families (CAF) is pleased to present our Annual Report for the fiscal year ended December 21, 2019. This report provides an overview of our achievements, challenges, and ongoing commitment to improving the lives of the Afghan people.

Key Highlights from the 2019 Annual Report:

• Health Projects: We continued to implement vital health projects, including the SEHAT and Sehatmandi projects in Logar province, as well as the GAVI-HSS project.
• Community Development: CAF implemented community-based malaria management projects and Community-Led Total Sanitation projects in several provinces.
• Women and Youth Empowerment: We continued to operate women’s protection centers in Parwan province.
• Capacity Building: CAF conducted various training programs for healthcare workers and community workers.
• Achievements: The report highlights significant achievements in BPHS and EPHS projects under Sehatmandi, capacity-building programs, and gender-based activities.
